Reza Khandan explained regarding this court session, which was held in Branch 1175 of the Qods Judiciary Complex following a complaint by Fatemeh Hasanpur, one of the female ward officers at Evin Prison: “The respected lawyers in the case, Mr. Mostafa Neili and Ms. Shadi Halimi, as well as Mehraveh, presented their defenses. The judge asked the complainants to provide a CD containing video footage from the visitation hall on the specified day. Therefore, it was decided that on Saturday the CCTV footage from the visitation hall would be submitted so that the judge can issue a ruling based on that and other evidence in the case. On the other hand, parallel to the court session, the social worker from Qarchak Prison and the judicial representative of Evin Prison requested settlement and withdrawal from the case, which was not accepted by Mehraveh.”
