Iran’s Passport Ranking Near the Bottom of Global Passport Index

Based on the credibility ranking of world countries’ passports in 2020, the Iranian passport is ranked 71st while the American passport is ranked 21st.
According to information from the Passport Index website, among 193 countries and 6 territories in the world, the New Zealand passport holds the first position.
The passports of Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, and Australia are jointly ranked second in this global ranking.
Sweden, Belgium, France, Finland, Italy, and Spain are also jointly ranked third.
The credibility of the Iranian passport and Palestinian territories jointly rank 71st in this ranking.
The credibility of the Iranian passport is lower than the passports of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Pakistan.
One rank below Iran is Yemen, which has been engulfed in civil war, famine, and infectious diseases for years.
After Yemen come Somalia, Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq respectively.
Iraq is at the bottom of this ranking, and between Iran and the bottom of the table are Yemen, Somalia, Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
