Which Iranian Metal Production Companies Were Sanctioned by the United States

The U.S. Treasury Department sanctioned Iran’s main metal production companies and their affiliated and subsidiary companies on Thursday, July 25.
Steven Mnuchin, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, commented on this decision: “The Iranian regime continues to use revenues from its metal-producing companies and foreign sales agents to finance destabilizing behavior across the globe.”
Donald Trump, President of the United States, placed Iran’s steel, iron, aluminum, and copper industries under sanctions by issuing an executive order on April 8, 2019.
This presidential order is referenced in U.S. Treasury Department documents as “Executive Order 13871.”
This order was issued exactly one year after the President of the United States, arguing that the Islamic Republic violated the spirit of the nuclear agreement by continuing its ballistic missile program and hostile behavior in the region, withdrew from the agreement on April 8, 2018. President Trump not only restored the sanctions that had been lifted under the implementation of the agreement, but also imposed new sanctions against the Iranian regime.
