John Bolton: Donald Trump is Unfit and Unsuitable for the Presidency!

Bolton’s criticisms of Trump and his governing style continue unabated. He considers Trump an “unqualified” and “unsuitable” person for the presidency. The controversy surrounding the publication of Bolton’s memoir has become the number one topic in American media.

These days, one person is at the center of attention in American media: John Bolton. He, who until September of last year served as White House National Security Advisor, is preparing to publish his memoir covering his 17-month period of activity in the White House.

John Bolton’s memoir is scheduled to be released on June 23rd. Donald Trump has made all efforts to delay the publication of this book. This comes as copies of the book have already reached journalists.

In this regard, the American news network “ABC” has secured an interview with John Bolton. A senior correspondent of this network has obtained a copy of John Bolton’s book, titled “The Room Where It Happened.”

The former White House National Security Advisor has once again continued his criticisms of Donald Trump and his governing style in this interview.

Bolton stated explicitly in his interview with the “ABC” news network that Trump is an “unqualified” and “unsuitable” person for the presidency.

According to Bolton, Donald Trump does not distinguish between national interests and his personal interests, and therefore his policies could jeopardize American national security.

The network, in explaining Bolton’s interview with its correspondent, stated that it is unprecedented in American history for one of a president’s senior advisors to call him “unsuitable” for the presidency while he is still in office.

Primary Goal: Re-election!

John Bolton stated in this interview that Trump has pursued only one goal throughout his years in office, and that is victory in the presidential election.

According to the former White House National Security Advisor, re-election was so important to Trump that he was willing to undermine the country’s national security interests. He stated in this regard that Trump asked Xi Jinping, the leader of China, on the sidelines of a G20 summit to increase purchases of American agricultural products to boost his chances in the 2020 presidential election.

This comes while Trump has continuously accused Democrats of pursuing an appeasement policy aimed at rapprochement with China.

Bolton has also criticized Donald Trump’s lack of political awareness and information, stating that he is heavily influenced by external advisors in pursuing his policies and makes decisions without sufficient information. It is reported that Bolton reveals in his book Trump’s ignorance of the fact that Britain is a nuclear power.

On Wednesday, June 17th (June 28th in the Iranian calendar), Trump called Bolton a liar and claimed that all White House employees hate John Bolton.

Donald Trump, in response to recent statements and remarks by John Bolton, defended himself in a Twitter post. Trump claimed that none of the claims made in this book are true and that he never made such statements.

Trump accused Bolton of spreading lies and disseminating false news, claiming that Bolton is publishing this book out of revenge for being fired from the White House and his position as senior National Security Advisor.

In September 2019, John Bolton’s work with Donald Trump ended after nearly a year and a half. Bolton claims that he personally resigned from his position due to Trump’s dangerous policies regarding North Korea and his meeting with Kim Jong Un, the leader of that country. However, Trump claims that he fired Bolton.
