Air Pollution Drives Over 7,000 People to Emergency Centers

The spokesperson for the Country’s Emergency Organization stated: In general, from December 14-16, due to increased air pollution, 7,916 people visited emergency centers due to respiratory and cardiac problems caused by elevated air pollution.
He said: In Isfahan, Alborz, Tehran, and Central provinces, we witnessed the highest number of visits to emergency centers, with Tehran province leading the table with 6,034 visits, and Isfahan province ranking second with one thousand visits.
