Victims of ‘Padehdeh Shandiz’ Company Gather in Front of Razavi Khorasan Governorate

A group of financial victims and injured parties of Padehdeh Shandiz Company held a protest gathering in an attempt to claim their demands.

According to the Free Workers’ Union, on Thursday, April 19 (29 Farvardin), a group of financial victims and injured parties of Padehdeh Shandiz Company, holding several placards and chanting slogans including “Governor of Khorasan, support, support” and “Sell Padehdeh, return our money,” voiced their protest in front of the Razavi Khorasan Governorate building to officials.

Padehdeh Shandiz was a company formed to develop several villages and pastoral areas around Mashhad based on a comprehensive plan, but it conducted illegal land use changes without obtaining necessary permits during Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s presidency.

Subsidiary companies of Padehdeh illegally and without any basis attempted to artificially inflate Padehdeh’s stock prices, which was halted after a period through judicial action.

Although extensive gatherings by victims of unauthorized institutions including Padehdeh Shandiz Company have been held to date, these protest gatherings have remained unanswered by officials of the Islamic Republic government.
