After Sultan of Tar, Coin, and Paper, Sultan of Tramadol Also Arrested

The Mashhad Prosecutor’s Office has announced the arrest of an individual nicknamed “Sultan of Tramadol.” This person owned a spice shop in Mashhad. Sultan of Paper, Sultan of Tar, and Sultan of Coin were also arrested previously, and two of them were executed.

The Deputy Prosecutor of Mashhad has announced the arrest of an individual nicknamed “Sultan of Tramadol.” According to Eqtesad News, citing the Ruz-e No website, a person named “A-Ch” who was known among spice dealers and unauthorized drug sellers as “Sultan of Tramadol” has been arrested in Mashhad.

According to this report, the Sepah-e Haram intelligence forces in Mashhad, while monitoring the distribution of unauthorized drugs, were able to arrest this individual. A two-story rental house in Mashhad was the site of manufacturing unauthorized drugs for bodybuilding, weight gain, and weight loss, from which two thousand unknown pills and 11,500 tramadol pills were discovered.

According to the Deputy Prosecutor of Mashhad, several thousand boxes of counterfeit drug brands and labels, as well as large amounts of cash, were also seized during the search of this house.

Two Types of Paper Sultan

In Tehran, a group named “Sultan of Paper” has also been arrested. According to the Tehran Prosecutor, this group consists of 14 people and two separate cases have been filed against them.

Jafari Dolatabadi told ISNA news agency about these two groups and two separate cases: “One group were those who took foreign currency to import paper and sold the currency but did not import the paper, and the second group were those who took the currency and imported paper but sold the paper at the free market price, and both groups not only affected the market but also worsened the paper situation.”

According to the Tehran Prosecutor, these individuals collectively received 150 million dollars in government currency.

Jafari said the main defendants in this case are absconding, and those who have been arrested are not “prominent figures.”
