Dust Suspended in Khuzestan’s Air and Its Budget Suspended in the Leader’s Pocket

According to FCNNN news agency report; dust and particulate matter suspended in the air of deprived cities in Khuzestan province continues for the consecutive days.

In this regard, government officials constantly talk about budget and shortages to appear as if they are following up on the issue.

However, the point is that to provide funding for Khuzestan’s current crisis, a withdrawal from the National Development Fund must be made, and the leadership’s permission is the only condition for withdrawal from this fund.

Following the macroeconomic policies announced by Iran’s leadership, the Fifth Development Plan stipulated that a fund called the National Development Fund should be established, where 20 percent of oil revenues before any expenses would be deposited into this fund. Therefore, the National Development Fund is a national fund to support the private sector, and the Foreign Exchange Reserve Account is a government account.

The Foreign Exchange Reserve Account still exists, and if the government has surplus over its expenses, it deposits it into this account.

Article 84 of the Fifth Five-Year Development Plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran stipulates: The National Development Fund, which is called the Fund in this article, is established with the aim of converting part of the revenues from the sale of oil and gas and gas condensates and petroleum products into permanent wealth, productive assets and income-generating economic capital, as well as preserving the share of future generations from oil and gas resources and petroleum products.

The fund is based in Tehran and has no branches in Tehran or other parts of the country. The assets and property of this fund belong to the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This article serves as the fund’s charter.

Perhaps most of Iranian society does not know the difference and definitions of these two funds, but the reality is very bitter. Because twenty percent of Iran’s highest income is directly deposited into this fund and only the leader can issue an order for withdrawal from it.

By looking at the purpose of establishing this fund, which is the same hollow slogan of this regime, and also by looking at the level of income and welfare and the type of livelihood of the people, we will understand the massive and hidden plundering of this regime and its rulers.

Therefore, not only the people of Khuzestan but Iranian society with the existence of this lying and corrupt government will never reach even the minimum level of welfare. Because the greed for wealth accumulation and indifference of these rulers is infinite.

Unfortunately, our beautiful and wealthy land has been ruled for years by non-Iranian rulers.
