Human Rights Sources: A Porter Killed by Border Guard Fire in Iran

Human rights sources say that with direct fire from the border guard forces of “Hengezhal,” one porter was killed and several other porters were wounded.

The “Hengaw” website identified the porter’s name as Freidoun Salehi from Boukan and reported that on Monday, the 4th of Mordad, he was shot and killed by border guard forces at the Hengezhal border area in Baneh county, along with a group of other porters.

Several injured porters are said to have been transferred to hospital.
