Iran’s Justice Minister Takes Pride in 1988 Executions!

Iran’s Justice Minister has stated: “We take pride in executing God’s orders in relation to the hypocrites”!

Iran’s Justice Minister, defending one of the most heinous crimes of the Islamic Republic in its dark record, has stated that he takes pride in the executions of 1988.

Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the terrorist group of the Revolutionary Guards, reported that Mostafa Pourmohammadi said on Sunday, August 29, at the Administrative Council of Lorestan Province: “God commanded to show no mercy to infidels because they show no mercy to you, and hypocrites should not be shown mercy because if they could, they would kill you with blood and dust, which they did.” “We take pride in executing God’s orders in relation to the hypocrites.”

A large number of imprisoned members of the People’s Mujahedin Organization and leftist groups were executed in 1988 on the direct orders of Khomeini.

Regarding these executions, on the eve of their anniversary, Ayatollah Hosseinali Montazeri’s office had recently posted an audio file on its website in which Ayatollah Montazeri strongly protested the mass execution of members of the People’s Mujahedin Organization and called it a crime of the Islamic Republic.

In response to the release of that file, Ahmad Montazeri, the son of Ayatollah Montazeri, was forced to delete the file under pressure from the Ministry of Intelligence in Qom and was also summoned to the Special Clergy Court. Similarly, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, Khomeini’s grandson, whose executions were carried out on Khomeini’s direct orders, said: Those who harbor resentment toward the Imam will continue to do so until the end / What use is there in repeating false statements?
