Martyrdom of Four Afghan Christians in Kabul

According to a report from the special correspondent of the Persian-speaking Christian News Network in Kabul, as of the explosion on Saturday, August 2nd (July 23rd), 255 people have lost their lives.
This explosion occurred during a gathering of protesters opposing the transfer of a 500-megawatt power line from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan through the Salang Pass, known as the Enlightenment Movement. The protesters intended to march toward the presidential palace and establish camps to remain until their demands were met. Eyewitnesses reported that three attackers planned suicide operations, with two of them detonating themselves among the demonstrators. A third was targeted and killed by police. The terrorist group ISIS claimed responsibility for the explosion.
Among those killed, three brothers and one sister of faith from the Kabul Church have been reported. According to the report, the casualties from the Kabul Church were between 22-25 years old.
The report indicates that among the killed and wounded, there were numerous students from Kabul University who had come from other cities to study at that university.
The network correspondent, after visiting the wounded from the explosion, reported that with the help of volunteer personnel, the blood shortage problem in hospitals has been resolved; however, there has been a significant shortage of medications in Kabul hospitals, which has created opportunities for profiteering.
The Persian-speaking Christian News Network, while expressing sympathy with the believers of Afghanistan, earnestly brings the prayer for the liberation of the Afghan people and nation before God the Father.
In order to preserve the security of Kabul churches, this network refrains from disclosing the names and other details of the martyrs from the Kabul Church.
