Official coronavirus statistics in Iran: More than 31 percent have not yet been vaccinated

More than 31.2% of the population over the age of ten in Iran have not yet been vaccinated against coronavirus.
On Tuesday, Mehr News Agency published tables and charts from the Ministry of Health on the status of coronavirus vaccination in Iran, writing that the smallest age group that has not been vaccinated so far is the population aged 10 to 14, at 51.2 percent.
According to the same report, 17.7 percent of men and 16.4 percent of women over the age of 10 have not yet been vaccinated.
Meanwhile, according to official statistics, the total number of vaccines administered in Iran as of Monday, December 12, has reached 111 million 84,738 doses.
Accordingly, so far, 58 million, 778,763 people have received the first dose, 49 million, 560,783 people have received the second dose, and 2 million, 745,192 people have received the third dose of the vaccine.
At the same time, official reports indicate that 67 people have died from coronavirus and 2,784 new patients with the virus have been identified in the past 24 hours ending on Tuesday.
As announced by the Ministry of Health, 433 people were hospitalized among the newly identified patients.
Including these statistics, the total number of coronavirus patients in Iran reached 6,160,303 and the number of victims reached 130,831.
The daily coronavirus statistics in Iran are being made available to the media while independent sources question its accuracy, particularly considering the real number of victims to be two to three times the official figures.
Currently, no city in Iran is in red status, 8 cities are in orange status, 119 cities are in yellow status, and 321 cities are in blue status.
