Prince Pahlavi also wrote on his Twitter page after arriving in Israel: "Yasmine and I are in Israel. We are happy to be here and are committed to working to build a future full of peace and prosperity that the people of our region deserve. From the children of Cyrus to the children of Israel, we will build this future together and in friendship."

The prince and his wife also attended the Holocaust memorial service at the Western Wall and paid tribute by ringing the siren in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
He also wrote about his visit to the Wailing Wall: "Two thousand five hundred years ago, Cyrus the Great freed the Jews from captivity and helped them rebuild their temple in Jerusalem.
