Itamar Ben-Giver: Now is the time to cut off the head of the snake in Tehran

Itamar Ben-Giver told Netanyahu: "Now is the time to cut off the head of the snake in Tehran."
While more than two weeks have passed since Iran's missile attack on Israel and the world awaits Israel's response to the Iranian attack, Itamar Ben-Giver, the hardline Israeli Minister of National Security, said in a controversial statement: "Israel now has an opportunity to cut off the head of the snake by attacking Iran."
In addition to praising Benjamin Netanyahu in his remarks, he continued: "Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to make courageous decisions."
Last year, Ben-Gwer had also called for the complete destruction of the Gaza Strip and the cutting off of food, communications, and fuel supplies to Gaza residents, which drew widespread criticism. In addition to these calls, he had defended attacks by Jewish settlers on Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
He also stated in the past that if Tel Aviv stopped importing fuel into the Gaza Strip, it would succeed in returning the Israeli hostages. Ben-Giver also revealed that he himself distributed 170,000 weapons to Israelis in 8 months during Israel's war against Gaza.
The United States and the European Union also threatened to impose sanctions on Ben-Gweir for fueling settler attacks and spreading hatred.
