Bishop John McArvey, president of the Justice and Peace Council in Ireland, said that according to research they have obtained, one Christian believer is killed every five minutes, and about 100,000 Christians are killed every year for their beliefs!
Every year, about 100,000 Christians are killed worldwide for their religious beliefs alone. Bishop John McArvey said that is eleven people every hour and about 273 people in a day. He also said that this number is excluding those who are in prison, under torture, and exiled.
John McArvey pointed out that we cannot tolerate that our Christian brothers and sisters around the world face such problems, and that is why we have rushed to help these brothers and sisters by establishing the Salvation Organization.
