Two women arrested in Kermanshah for "crime" of singing

The head of Kermanshah Province's Public Security Police says that police officers in the city have arrested two women for singing a song.

According to the police news website, Hassan Heydari said that their singing was "commissioned by one of the trade union units and for the purpose of advertising by one of the advertising centers in Kermanshah."

He went on to say that the owner of this trade union unit and the owner of the advertising center have also been arrested for this, and that the trade union unit and the advertising center's office have also been sealed, and the internet pages that published the clip of that song have also been blocked by the FATA police.

A month ago, the head of the Kermanshah provincial public security police announced the arrest of a model who had appeared in a video clip at the province's "Ma'aun al-Molk" Tekiye.

Hassan Heydari also announced the arrest of the cameraman of the clip and said that the female model in the clip was arrested at her home.

Three days earlier, Kermanshah Prosecutor Shahram Karami had said that four people in Kermanshah had been arrested in connection with advertising with live mannequins and producing a promotional clip.
