White House National Security Council: No one should feel sorry for the Iranian regime

In response to the Revolutionary Guards' satellite-carrying missile test, the White House National Security Council stated that no one should feel sorry for the Iranian regime.

“While the Iranian people suffer and die from COVID-19, the Iranian regime brags about wasting money and resources,” the White House National Security Council tweeted.

The message continued: "No one should feel sorry for this regime. Iran should not be allowed to develop intercontinental ballistic missiles! That is why there are sanctions against the regime."

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also said about Iran's missile test: "The Iranians launched a military satellite-carrying missile. They had promised that their entire satellite program and related missile program would be civilian, but the person in charge of launching this missile is Hajizadeh, the commander of the Aerospace Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the same person whose forces targeted a passenger plane just a few weeks ago, killing 176 innocent people."
