Azim Ebrahimpour, deputy commander of the Khatam al-Awsiya headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, claimed that the power of Iran's missile sites has now reached a level where they can raze Tel Aviv to the ground in less than 8 minutes.
According to the Tasnim news agency, close to Iranian security institutions, Azim Ebrahimpour stated on Wednesday evening, April 27, at the closing ceremony of the Rahian-e-Noor camps at the Faculty of Engineering of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad: "The military options of the P5+1 group are not important to us, and they know that if the slightest movement occurs, we will destroy all important American points, including 1,200 identified locations, in less than 48 hours."
The P5+1 group consists of the countries involved in nuclear negotiations with Iran, which include the United States, Britain, France, Russia, and China, the five members of the United Nations Security Council, plus Germany.
Referring to Iran's missile sites, the deputy of the Khatam al-Awsiya headquarters added: "The power of Iran's missile sites has now reached the point where they can raze Tel Aviv to the ground in less than 8 minutes."
Iran has recently conducted several missile tests, tests that have angered the West to the point where a bill to sanction Iran for these tests has been introduced in the US Congress. Some observers believe that Iran is exaggerating its missile capabilities, despite continuing its missile program even during the sanctions period.
