Parsa Ghobadi: I am suffering from complications of cerebral hemorrhage due to torture during detention

Parsa Ghobadi, one of the detainees from the nationwide protests, reported the complications of a brain hemorrhage caused by torture during his arrest.

Parsa Ghobadi, now 19, was shot in Kermanshah during nationwide protests that began after the killing of Mahsa Amini, severely damaging the vision in both eyes. She traveled to Germany for treatment a few months ago.

After visiting a hospital in Hamburg, Germany, and being admitted, Parsa discovered, according to doctors, that he had blood clots in his brain, which were the result of his torture during detention.

On June 8, Parsa posted a message on his Instagram page: "I was arrested on May 12, 1402. On the first and second day, they tied a chain to my right leg and hung me from the ceiling. After two hours of torture, they released the chain several times and from a distance they hit me on the ground with my head. I suffered internal bleeding and now several blood clots have formed inside my brain."

In his statement, he stated that a total of about 10 bullets hit his eyes, causing the cornea, pupil, and retina of both eyes to shatter.

It has been about two years since the "Women, Life, Freedom" protests began, and the Islamic Republic's regime continues to arrest and torture protesters, and the number of people opposed to the regime and protesters who have been harmed by the regime and its agents increases every day.
