Four Kurdish citizens arrested in Piranshahr

In recent weeks, four Kurdish citizens have been arrested by security forces in the city of Piranshahr, in West Azerbaijan province.

According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network website, after the families of the detainees went to the Piranshahr City Intelligence Department, they were informed that the individuals were accused of "collaborating with Kurdish parties opposed to the Iranian government."

According to reports, more than a hundred Kurdish citizens have been summoned or arrested by security forces in various cities since the fall of this year. Many of them have been accused of collaborating with or supporting Kurdish parties opposed to the Islamic Republic.
