Prince Abdullah Al-Sabah's conversion to Christianity

Reports indicate that Prince Abdullah Al-Sabah, a member of the Kuwaiti royal family, has converted to Christianity.
The release of an audio file of Prince Abdullah Al-Sabah of Kuwait on the Christian satellite television channel "Al-Haqq", in which he declared his faith in Jesus Christ, provoked a strong reaction from Muslims.
Reports from social media and satellite channels in the past few weeks suggest that Prince Abdullah of the Kuwaiti royal family has converted to Jesus Christ. In the audio recording, which was posted under his own name, Prince Al-Sabah affirms his faith in Jesus Christ, saying: “If I am killed because of the recording in which I spoke about my conversion, I firmly believe that I will meet Jesus Christ face to face and be with him forever.”

Many Muslims have reacted strongly to the Kuwaiti prince's faith, declaring that he is not a member of the royal family. Prince Abdullah also made statements about his faith, saying: "I accept whatever they do to me, because the truth in the Bible has guided me to the right path."
The Al-Sabah family is the royal family of Kuwait, and Middle Eastern news sources have announced that the audio file in question was released by the Al-Haq satellite channel, which broadcasts Christian religious programs in Arabic.
