Gilad Erdan: The representative of the terrorist Iranian regime has no place in the United Nations

Israeli representative Gilad Erdan, in response to Abdullahian's presence at the UN, said: "The representative of the terrorist regime of Iran has no place at the UN."
Yesterday, Thursday, October 26, the United Nations General Assembly held a meeting in New York for international consultations on the situation of Palestine and Israel. Representatives of other countries, including Iran, also attended the meeting.
Gilad Erdan, the Israeli representative present at the meeting, reacted to Hossein Amir-Abdollahian's presence at the UN and, while referring to the situation in Iran and the killing of many unarmed and innocent Iranian people, said: "Colleagues, this resolution is not the only thing that is far from reality today. A little later, the representative of the evil regime that provided training, funding, and weapons to Hamas for the October 7th attack will speak to you."
The Ayatollah regime in Iran has the blood of thousands of Israelis on its hands. It has the blood of hundreds of thousands of oppressed Iranians, Ukrainians, Americans, Emiratis, and many others on its hands. Based on credible evidence, Iran is known as the number one state sponsor of terrorism.
It is quite natural that the foreign minister of this criminal regime would speak after proposing this resolution. A country with Nazi ideology that publicly speaks of the destruction of Israel would stand by its proxy Hamas, which has the same Nazi ideology of destroying Israel. Surely this is completely understandable.
"A few days ago he met with representatives of Hamas and its allied terrorist group Islamic Jihad. He praised them for their killings, and today he is here to fill your ears with poison. Definitely a unity for peace, a unity to tear apart every single Israeli. This criminal man and any representative of the terrorist regime of Iran have no place in the United Nations and the family of nations. This is a moral stain on the United Nations and its fundamental values."
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, also attended the meeting and, while referring to Hamas's readiness to release civilian prisoners, made the following remarks regarding the Israel-Gaza war: "I am saying frankly that we do not welcome the expansion and scope of the war in the region, but we warn that if the genocide in Gaza continues, they themselves will not be safe from this fire. That is our home, West Asia is our region. We do not compromise with any side in terms of home security."
"We strongly warn against the uncontrollable consequences of the White House's unlimited financial, weapons, and operational support for the Tel Aviv regime, which has led to the escalation of the intensity of the bombing of Palestinian civilians, women, and children in Gaza and the West Bank."
Abdullahian emphasized Hamas's legitimate right to fight against the occupation, adding: "The Palestinian Liberation Movement Hamas is fighting the occupation in accordance with international law and has a legitimate right. Hamas is ready to release civilian prisoners. The world must simultaneously support the release of the six thousand Palestinians held in Israeli prisons."
