British and French leaders demand Israel not to respond to Iranian attack

The leaders of Britain and France urged Israel not to respond to Iran's attack on Sunday morning.
According to Al Jazeera, French President Emmanuel Macron called Iran's attack on Israel disproportionate to Israel's attack on Tehran's consulate in Syria.
Emmanuel Macron said on Monday, April 15, "We will do everything we can to prevent an escalation and to convince Israel that it should not respond with further escalation to the Iranian attack. France will stand by Israel to guarantee its protection and I will speak with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu later today."
British Foreign Secretary David Cameron also urged not to retaliate against the Iranian attack and to maintain focus on the ceasefire in Gaza. He also said: "We insist that tensions should not escalate. We hope that there will be no retaliatory response, that the Iranian attack has failed and that there is no need for a response from Tel Aviv."
