April 17, 1935 – May 2, 2021
our beloved husband, father, father in law, grandfather, brother, and uncle, forever in our hearts.
David was a true godly man and this was obvious in all aspects of his life, as a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, brother-in-law, and pastor.
He did not waver from what was right in the eyes of God, even if it cost him many heartaches. He studied the Word of God with passion, taught it with diligence, and preached it with authority. His zeal for God’s Kingdom was evident in how he never sought glory for all his tireless, persistent, tenacious efforts and sacrifices. Till the last days of his life, when he could only speak but a few words, he expressed concern and care for the lost souls, scattered sheep of God’s ock, and broken churches. His heart was the heart of a true pastor. He loved his wife Janet in an uncommon way in his culture, even if it meant standing up for her before his family. As a father he was a great example of a disciplined lifestyle, yet so loving and thoughtful, guiding his daughters Ramina and Ramsina to look for broader horizons than what was traditional. His sweetness was most evident in his
relationship with his grandson Thomas, interrupting all at any time to spend precious moments with him. He was caring, compassionate, and generous to all his family, guiding, advising with great discernment and wisdom. As a peacemaker, he sought to mend relationships, nonetheless stood strong on Biblical principles. He shepherded his churches with a unique kind of devotion, commitment, and leadership, mentoring and guiding, laboring sacrificially and relentlessly. We will miss this honorable man immensely.
