At least 21 people killed in bus and fuel tanker collision near Natanz

Reports indicate that at least 21 people were killed and at least 20 others injured when a bus collided with a fuel tanker near Natanz.

Pirouz Hanachi, head of the national emergency services, said the bus hit the tanker from behind and the fire is extensive; the search for bodies continues.

Meanwhile, the Red Crescent rescue and relief organization announced that 47 people were affected in the Tehran-Kerman bus collision with the fuel tanker. In this incident, 21 people died and 26 people were injured.

According to IRNA, the collision occurred at 23:14 on Monday, September 17 (Shahrivar 26), at kilometer 25 of the Kashan-Natanz road.

The bus reportedly belonged to the Haft Cooperative and was traveling from Tehran to Kerman.

According to the report, the bus overturned after colliding with the tanker and caught fire in the opposite lane.
