Benjamin Netanyahu: Hebrew New Year is a Turning Point for Destroying the Islamic Republic Axis

“Benjamin Netanyahu” described the Hebrew New Year as a turning point for destroying the Islamic Republic axis and ensuring Israel’s security.

Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, on the eve of the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah), announced in a meeting with senior commanders of the country’s army that the coming year will be “decisive in the struggle to destroy the Islamic Republic axis.”

The meeting was held with the presence of “Eyal Zamir,” Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, and “Yisrael Katz,” Defense Minister. Netanyahu said in this session: “We are in a battle in which we have overcome our enemies and must eliminate the Iran axis. This is a mission before us and can mark a historic year for Israel’s security.”

He also emphasized that achieving Israel’s objectives will not be limited to the Gaza Strip and added: “Our mission is not limited to Gaza; the complete destruction of Hamas, the liberation of hostages, and ensuring that this region no longer poses a threat to Israel are part of our goals. On other fronts, we must also create opportunities for new openings for security, victory, and even peace.”

The Prime Minister of Israel, addressing his country’s military personnel, said: “Achieving these goals requires two fundamental principles: first, maintaining unity in difficult circumstances, and second, having a firm will in all situations.”

At the end, while referring to the beginning of the Hebrew New Year, he stated: “I hope this year will be a year of security, victory, and unity. Shana Tova (Happy New Year).” The Hebrew New Year this year begins at sunset on Monday, September 22 and continues until sunset on Wednesday, September 24.

Meanwhile, “Yossi Cohen,” former head of Mossad, predicted in a conversation with CNN that the Islamic Republic will collapse within less than a decade. He said: “Given the long experience I have in the field of the Islamic Republic, I believe regime change is necessary; a necessity that is not only beneficial to the international community, but above all in the interest of the Iranian people, people who within their own country seek change.”

Cohen emphasized that today Iranian society is either no longer religious or, if it has religious beliefs, is not willing to live under the control of an authoritarian system. He also explained that Israel’s targeted operations in Iran and Lebanon have been a combination of humanitarian measures and modern technologies.

According to him, the Islamic Republic spends enormous costs on institutions such as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Basij, and security organizations for its survival. Cohen added: “The best opportunity to overthrow this government was after the 12-day war and occurred when the Islamic Republic was in its weakest condition since its establishment.”
