Declaration of Disassociation by Commander Ahmad Pekari, Commander of Sepah Shushtar, from the Islamic Republic Regime

The collapse of the upper layers of the Revolutionary Guards has begun. Commander Ahmad Pekari (Commander of Sepah Shushtar) declared his disassociation from the Islamic Republic regime through his remarks in an audio file.

After two and a half months from the start of protests in various cities, we have witnessed some Revolutionary Guards officials stepping down from their positions, resigning, and joining the people. However, on Friday, November 18, Commander Ahmad Pekari, in his remarks addressed to Commander Naqdi, declared that either you leave yourselves or we will force you out.

The substance of Commander Ahmad Pekari’s remarks is as follows:

“Today is November 18, 1401. I saw a statement on a news website in which Mr. Commander Naqdi said thank God our enemies are foolish. Just as in the 1960s we saved the revolution, now in the 1980s we will save Palestine. I wanted to tell Mr. Commander Naqdi, you are foolish in every sense. The enemies of the revolution, the Imam, the martyrs, and the nation are people like you. You have only two options: either you are foolish or an agent who cannot see reality. You cannot see the truth, the alleys, the markets, and the streets of all of Iran. Have you become deaf, dumb, and blind? You are the manifestation of the verse ‘Deaf, dumb, and blind, so they will not return.’

Mr. Commander Naqdi, do you not hear the slogans at night behind the windows of houses in Tehran? Do you not see the wall writings that are erased every morning before 7 o’clock? All Iranian cities are burning like fire—do you not see? Do these people want to free Palestine? Is the problem of this nation the liberation of Palestine?

People like you have brought these calamities upon the revolution and the blood of martyrs. Mr. Commander Naqdi, I, Ahmad Pekari, who am saying this, have suffered more for the revolution, been hurt more, and given my blood and youth more than you have. In the Khorramshahr Siege operation, my 15-year-old brother was a line-breaker. In the Ramadan operation, my 16-year-old brother fired more than 70 RPG rounds from dawn until noon in the Shahid Charaghi battalion in Shushtar. In the preliminary Fajr operation, I myself, at age 16, was a line-breaker and was wounded. The day I was coming from Kurdistan to Khuzestan for leave, I was on a bus when the Imam announced we accepted the resolution. I, dozens of times more than you and your ilk, have shed blood, suffered hardship, and made efforts with my family for the revolution. I have not sought inheritance from this revolution and do not and will not profiteer in the name of the Imam, the revolution, and the martyrs. You are the destroyers of our martyrs’ blood and did not allow the Constitution to be implemented.

Mr. Commander Naqdi, you yourself were one of the club-wielders during the years 76 to 84 under Mr. Khatami. You were agents of suppression and agents of disrupting speeches. You created riots and unrest. Every three days you would go against the official government of Mr. Khatami—while the people, with 20 million votes for Mr. Khatami, consolidated the Islamic Republic system—yet you still fought against the people’s vote. You did not allow the fundamental principles of the Constitution that should be in line with republicanism to be implemented. Mr. Commander Naqdi, you were a pressure group and a chaos group.

You want to come and arrest me, Ahmad Pekari? I am here. Come arrest me and execute me. Saddam did not kill me, but I will be killed by your hands. Saddam did not beat our prisoners with bound hands and feet and blindfolded eyes, but you beat our youth with bound hands and feet, blindfolded, with batons. Saddam did not lay hands on our honor, but you lay hands on Iran’s honor. Curse be upon you and your ideology. Curse be upon you and everyone who thinks like you, you who have betrayed the blood of our martyrs, the revolution, the system, and everything we have, and you still make demands.

You still have your ears closed and think the people want you? Mr. Commander Naqdi! If you think you are very manly, go sit next to your leader, because Mr. Khamenei is not my leader. Go sit next to him and say now that the majority of the nation wants you—let’s hold a referendum. Let’s hold a referendum so it becomes clear how popular you were with the people and how much the people love you. So it becomes clear what Islamic Republic system you rule over.

Do you accept republicanism? You have been servants of Russia and China and enemies of this nation. You do not want even half a line of the Constitution, which has a thousand flaws, to be implemented. You want lawlessness, but you do not want this failed Constitution implemented either. We want this failed Constitution to be implemented. If you are telling the truth, allow all its principles to be implemented. Allow the people to protest according to the Constitution. Allow freedom of speech, freedom of thought, and freedom of expression.

You have no right to beat the people. Torture, which is a legacy of Shahid Beheshti in the Constitution, is forbidden and prohibited. Why do you torture people? You are a bunch of liars who believe neither in God, nor in Imam Khomeini, nor in the Quran, nor in the revolution, nor in the Constitution.

I am ready. Come arrest me and execute me today. Before it is too late, gather your belongings and hand over the revolution to the people. You were completely incompetent to have, after the revolution, run over Imam Khomeini’s revolution with a steamroller and destroyed it. You led him to the long-held dream of the Hojatieh Society. You led the Hojatieh Society to its wish that the revolution should be destroyed. You have accomplished the best mission of the Tudeh Party. Curse be upon you for having eliminated Islam and even Quranic values. To every young person, when I speak from the Quran, they say do not speak. In every gathering, when I speak from the Quranic verse and the values of the revolution, they say are you satisfied. You have caused all of this and caused these days.

You have considered everyone except yourselves as infidels, while you yourselves are more infidel, more worthless, and more conscienceless than all. Curse be upon you for having betrayed the blood of our brothers.

The day will come when, if you do not gather your belongings, we will forcefully gather them and throw you out. May God not forgive you, for we will not forgive you.”
