Dollar Price Surpasses 32,000 Tomans

While Iran’s Central Bank recently announced that it would control the country’s foreign exchange price crisis by injecting 50 million dollars daily in banknotes into the market, reports indicate a continued increase in dollar prices in Tehran’s market today, with the rate crossing the 32,000 toman threshold.
Iranian media outlets and Telegram channels reported on Thursday, October 24, a dollar price of 32,200 tomans.
Based on the latest prices released in the market on Thursday, October 20, the dollar rate has reached 32,200 tomans.
While the price of gold coins declined slightly yesterday, it faced another increase today and rose to 16 million and 200,000 tomans.
The remarks by the Central Bank Governor, who expressed hope yesterday regarding the entry of five billion dollars in the country’s foreign exchange resources from Iraq, did not help reduce the exchange rate.
Abdolnasser Hemmati had also warned of heavy pressure in the foreign exchange market over the next three weeks.
