Donald Trump: Those Who Deny the Holocaust are Complicit in This Terrible Crime

The President of the United States said at a ceremony in the American Congress that those who deny the Holocaust are complicit in this terrible crime.

Donald Trump on Tuesday, April 25th, referring to the efforts of American soldiers in World War II to free and rescue Jews from Nazi German extermination camps, said that those who deny the Holocaust are complicit in this terrible crime. They are accomplices with Nazi Germany, which committed this crime.

The American President emphasized that Holocaust denial is antisemitism.

President Trump said at the Holocaust victims memorial ceremony that we have a duty not to let that long dark night repeat itself. We must never forget the genocide of the Jewish people.

He added: “You went through a nightmare to tell us your story today.”

The American President added: “Six million Jews were killed without any mercy and compassion. Many families were separated and sent to prison.”

Israel, a Permanent Memorial to the Jewish People

He emphasized at the memorial day ceremony in the American Congress that as President, he will stand with the Jewish people and Israel and will confront antisemitism.

He added: “The State of Israel is a permanent memorial to the Jewish people.”

The American President, while standing in solidarity with the people of Israel, said that Holocaust survivors say that the Nazi genocide must not be forgotten. The United States does not permit efforts against Jews.

Trump added: “As President, we stand with the Jewish people and Israel.”

Former U.S. Presidents have participated in the memorial ceremony since the opening of the Holocaust Museum in Washington in 1993, including Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, and before them Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter.

The Holocaust Museum, in countering hatred, genocide, and promoting human dignity, inspires citizens and world leaders who visit it.
