Education Official: Students Required to Dress Appropriately in Virtual Classes

The director general of the Parents and Educators Association at the Ministry of Education said on Tuesday that since virtual classes are considered formal classes, all rules “must” be observed in virtual classes.
Noor Ali Abbaspour told the “News Network Follow-up” program: “Because virtual classes are also formal classes and all rules must be observed, dress code in video communication should be appropriate, but it has never been mandatory to wear school uniforms.”
He added: “The requirement for appropriate dress is to maintain the formal nature of the class, which should be observed in video communication.”
In this regard, Mohsen Haji Mirzaei, the Minister of Education, said on Sunday: “According to the planning done and the approval of the National Corona Headquarters, in all likelihood in the new academic year, counting Thursdays, half of the students will go to school on even-numbered days and the other half on odd-numbered days.”
Mohsen Haji Mirzaei also stated: “According to the new academic year schedule, starting from the 15th of Shahrivar this year, it will begin either in-person, remotely, or in a hybrid format of both, and if a province is in a red situation, we will use other methods.”
