Four Days Missing: 16-Year-Old Arjin Jundi from Piranshahr Held in Unknown Location After Arrest by Intelligence Forces
Arjin Jundi, a 16-year-old child from Piranshahr, remains in an unknown location four days after being detained by the Intelligence Ministry forces, while his family is left without information about his fate and the charges against him. According to reports, security forces entered the teenager’s family home in the village of Kuper, Piranshahr, on September 20th and arrested him without presenting any court order. According to a report by the human rights organization Hengaw, Arjin Jundi, a 16-year-old from Piranshahr, was detained by Intelligence Ministry forces on Friday, September 20th, 1405 (September 11th, 2026).
Reports indicate that security forces stormed the teenager’s family home in the village of Kuper (Kweper) and arrested him without presenting any documents or court order, taking him away. Four days have now passed since the arrest, and no specific information has been released about his place of detention, his physical and psychological condition, or the charges brought against him.
Arjin’s family has also attempted to follow up on their son’s fate, but these efforts have so far been unsuccessful.
