Graham’s Controversial Statements Against Khamenei and Reza Pahlavi’s Explicit Support, Trump’s Position

“Lindsey Graham” in an interview called for decisive action against Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, and Prince Reza Pahlavi, while supporting him, considered this stance as a sign of the end of appeasement policy.
At the height of Iran’s domestic crisis and widespread protests, Lindsey Graham, a prominent Republican senator, in a controversial interview, harshly attacked Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, and called for unprecedented action. In this conversation, he called Ali Khamenei “Hitler of the era” and a terrifying figure, and addressing Donald Trump said: “If I were in your place, I would kill the leader of the Islamic Republic.”
Senator Graham, continuing with emphasis on Trump’s role in recent developments, said: “Donald Trump is different from Barack Obama and Trump has better supported the people of Iran than in the past.”
Graham added that this violence and repression in Iran has not only domestic consequences, but will also have regional implications. He stated that if the people of Iran overcome the oppressors, all proxy groups like Hezbollah and Hamas will be eliminated and Israel and Saudi Arabia will make peace with each other.”
At the same time, Prince Reza Pahlavi, a prominent figure opposed to the Islamic Republic, by reposting Graham’s post, endorsed his stance and wrote: “Senator Graham is right and Trump is not Barack Obama, and his statements in support of protesters in Iran demonstrate this.” He emphasized: “Now is the time for action and the President is a man of action and a man of peace.”
Prince Reza Pahlavi wrote on his X account that by helping Iranians end this criminal government, Donald Trump can take action for the greatest peace the world has ever seen.
Prince Reza Pahlavi, continuing his message, while describing Iran’s domestic situation, emphasized that the current government “is weak and on the verge of collapse and the people are ready to overthrow it.”
He also added: “The Iranian people do not need a ground military presence and the only thing they need is the action of the leader of the free world.”
Prince Reza Pahlavi also said: “Negotiating with this criminal government that continues to threaten America and the President will not bring peace, but immediate action to support these brave protesters will save the lives of thousands and bring lasting peace to the region.”
These statements come at a time when protests in Iran have become one of the greatest challenges to the Islamic Republic system since the 1979 Revolution, with reports of severe repression, widespread casualties, and international reactions that have intensified concerns about the role of the United States in the region.
