Massacre of Christians in Nigeria’s Plateau State by Fulani Islamists

Extremist Fulani Islamists in Plateau State, Nigeria, carried out a massive massacre by attacking Christian-populated villages.
According to the Christian Daily International news agency, Fulani Islamists attacked seven Christian-populated villages in Bukos district, killing approximately 60 Christians.
Maren Aradongu, one of the leaders of Nigeria’s Christian community, confirmed the news in an interview with the agency, stating: “During these attacks, more than a thousand Christians were displaced in Horty, and 383 houses were destroyed by the Islamists. These attacks began on Wednesday, April 2, around 3 p.m. The attackers destroyed grocery stores and looted various items.”
According to Christian news agency reports, 21 Christians were killed on the first day of these attacks, and another 40 Christians were killed the following day. Fulani terrorists targeted Christian communities in Rovi, Mangor, Tamisu, Dafo, Manguna, Horty, and Tadai. The governor of Plateau State described the killing of Christians by Islamists as genocide.
Nigeria ranks seventh on the Open Doors World Watch List as the most dangerous place for Christians to live. Nigerian Christian leaders also believe that the repeated attacks by Fulani Islamists on Christians are aimed at forcibly seizing Christian lands and imposing Islam on them.
