Plundering People’s Assets Under the Guise of Collecting Annual Cemetery Plot Fees

Tehran’s City Council intends to collect annual cemetery plot maintenance fees from the families of the deceased for each grave plot.
Following the sale of government surplus assets, major corporations, important refineries, oil, gas, accusations of theft of royal jewels to prepare people so they could easily sell them too, land and gold mine sales, fabricated earthquakes for extracting valuable resources, and more, the turn has now come to plunder people’s assets under the guise of annual cemetery plot fees, which is currently under consideration.
According to the bill on cemetery service fees for the year 1402, the government intends to collect a sum from families of the deceased for the annual maintenance of each grave plot. This sum is separate from the substantial millions that people are charged when purchasing a grave.
People also reacted to this news published on social media pages. Many of them said: “If we don’t pay this fee, will you issue an eviction order? Or will you take our dead out of their graves and imprison them along with us? Many also said that ultimately supporting all these terrorist groups costs money, which somehow needs to be funded. Many people also stated that no country has grave selling, and even selling graves is forbidden; they not only sell empty land to the dead, but also want annual fees, and if this amount is not paid, an eviction order for the grave will certainly be issued.”
According to Sharg Network, if this bill is approved by Tehran’s City Council and the governorate, annual cemetery maintenance fees will be collected starting next year.
Considering the number of graves in each district of Iranian cities, one can clearly understand what substantial sum will be collected from people by charging the proposed amount of 164,000 Tomans per grave plot.
This is yet another plundering of the assets of the Iranian people.
