Prince Reza Pahlavi: This War is Not of the Iranian People, It is Ali Khamenei’s War

Prince Reza Pahlavi said in remarks: This war is not of the Iranian people, it is the war of a dictator, namely Ali Khamenei.
Prince Pahlavi, last night by attending the annual award ceremony “Architect of Peace” of the Richard Nixon Foundation, said in a speech: “Winds of war are blowing in our region, but this war is not of the Iranian people, rather this war belongs to a dictator, namely Ali Khamenei.”
In the speech of the aforementioned ceremony, while emphasizing that the Iranian people are seeking peace, security, and a future free from tyranny, he continued: “I dedicate this award to the Iranian nation who are the true architects of peace, and I also thank the Nixon Library for now standing beside the Iranian people.”
Reza Pahlavi, referring to his father’s efforts for a free and modern Iran, added: “My father worked tirelessly to build a modern and progressive Iran to create a country in which economic development, education, and growth flourished, just as he and Iran of his time were the pillar of stability in the Middle East. At a time when many world leaders turned their backs on my father, President Nixon stood by him. Likewise, the greatest validation of my father’s actions comes not from the government, but from the voice of ordinary Iranian people. People who today continue to fight for a better future.”
Prince Pahlavi also spoke about his efforts for Iran’s freedom, saying: “Many friends told me that I will not succeed in the struggle for the country’s freedom because I do not have government backing, adequate budget, and an army. But now I have an extraordinarily courageous army that consists of all my fellow citizens throughout the country.”
