More than 80 percent of the entire country is in complete strike, and with the latest updates on nationwide strikes, certainly 99 percent of the country will join this 3-day nationwide call.

The initial nuclei of uprising formed in Tehran’s Shahrak-e Araj and Setarkhane areas. Ekbatan and Chitgar neighborhoods witnessed widespread demonstrations by the people accompanied by chants and fire. People from other areas of Tehran and its suburbs also joined this call with their widespread presence in the streets. In the city of Qazvin, in addition to public protests, all merchants also joined the strikers.

People in Shiraz and Zanjan also took to the streets with the chant “Death to the Dictator.”

The cities of Hamedan and Dehgolan in Kurdistan witnessed widespread presence of people, even elementary school children. In Quchan, people set fire to a Basij base with a large number of Molotov cocktails.

The people of Iran announced that these calls and strikes have become a great nightmare for the Islamic Republic government. Unity is the key to our victory against the dictatorial regime, and our struggle will continue until the regime is overthrown. If we do not rise up, the next victims will be our children who will be killed or detained.

Power belongs to us, the people of Iran, so we will not remain silent.
