Student Child Beaten for Not Observing Mandatory Hijab

A young female student was beaten by a woman for not observing mandatory hijab.
A video circulating on social media shows a young girl being severely beaten by a pro-government woman for failing to observe mandatory hijab, with her face covered in blood. The incident not only caused physical harm to the young girl, but also caused her psychological trauma and extreme fear. This girl, who has not yet entered the world of politics, religion, and ideology, has no knowledge of the mandatory nature of hijab or the consequences of not adhering to it.
Following the death of Mahsa Amini due to improper hijab at the hands of morality police, a nationwide Iranian uprising erupted in protest. However, enforcement of mandatory hijab by government officials and system supporters continues unabated and even sometimes results in severe beatings. If judicial action is not taken against those who commit such violence, more such incidents will occur.
According to the Law for the Protection of Children and Adolescents passed in 2020, any physical harm to a child constitutes placing the child in a dangerous situation, and judicial authorities are legally obligated to investigate the matter without requiring a private complaint and take action to protect the child’s rights.
The Islamic Republic government not only oppresses and violates the rights of Iranian women and girls due to mandatory hijab, but also permits its supporters to enforce religious policing in this regard and, so to speak, remind people about hijab that is mandated by the Islamic regime, and even allows them to resort to beating if the rule is not observed.
This is how the Iranian people have been held captive for 44 years by the prejudices and superstitions of the Islamic Republic regime—a regime that shows no mercy to children, adolescents, young people, and the elderly, whether women or men, and will resort to any crime to impose its beliefs.
