Survey on Mandatory Vaccination in Iran: 75% in Favor, 21% Opposed

An ISPA survey shows that over 21% of Iran’s population is opposed to making the coronavirus vaccine mandatory for everyone. In the past 24 hours, 158 people died from COVID-19 virus and 9,862 new patients were identified.
The results of a survey by the Iranian Student Opinion Research Center (ISPA), affiliated with Academic Jihad, show that 75% of respondents were in favor of making the coronavirus vaccine mandatory.
The survey was conducted with a statistical population of people over 18 years old and a sample size of 1,612 people through telephone calls at the national level between November 30 and December 3, 2021.
Based on the results of this survey, 21.6% of respondents were opposed to mandatory vaccination for everyone, and 3.3% also did not respond to this question.
Coronavirus Statistics in the Past 24 Hours
Based on data from the Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health, during the past 24 hours (November 30 to December 1, 2021), 9,862 new patients infected with COVID-19 virus were registered, of which 1,251 were hospitalized.
Thus, the total number of COVID-19 patients, according to official government statistics, has reached 5 million, 964 thousand, and 824 people.
According to Mehr News Agency, in the past 24 hours, 158 people also lost their lives due to infection with COVID-19 virus.
Iran’s Ministry of Health says that currently 29 cities in the country are in red status, 112 cities in orange status, 221 cities in yellow status, and 86 cities in blue status.
