Two Restaurants in Tehran Sealed by Security Police Due to Failure to Comply with Hijab Requirements

Two restaurants in Tehran have been sealed by security police officers due to failure to comply with hijab requirements and Islamic regulations.
According to reports published on social media pages, the restaurants “Zeus” located in Saadabad and “Chili’s” located in Bostaan Nahj al-Balagha have been sealed by security police officers due to failure to comply with mandatory hijab requirements.
Previous warnings had been issued to the aforementioned restaurants, but videos recently published on social media showing customers and staff of these establishments without hijabs led to the sealing of these locations. Not only these two restaurants, but other cafes and restaurants have been closed and subsequently sealed by authorities due to failure to comply with mandatory hijab requirements.
Many people have reacted to the sealing of these establishments, writing: “The system quickly mobilizes on the issue of hijab and arrests or seals establishments, while months have passed since the poisoning of students in a horrifying manner, yet the perpetrators have still not been arrested.”
The Islamic Republic system, amid dire economic poverty and lack of business and customers, has prevented many people from earning income due to the hijab issue, which is not even a particularly important matter, a situation that has provoked severe reactions from the public.
When will the people’s revolution and freedom of Iran truly be realized? Will the people continue to protest, strike, and persist in their views regarding the overthrow of the Islamic Republic regime?
