Bennett: I will present a plan to limit Iran in my meeting with Biden

The Israeli prime minister is traveling to the United States in the coming days. He plans to present a plan to Joe Biden to counter Iran’s “regional aggression” and nuclear activities. Bennett said the time to stop Iran “is past.”
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is traveling to the United States this week to meet with US President Joe Biden and other US officials, including on Iran.
He announced on Sunday, August 22, that he would present a plan to “limit the Islamic Republic’s nuclear activities and regional belligerence” to US President Joe Biden.
According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, he intends to tell the US president that “the time has come to stop Iran.” In his view, Iran should not be given “a highway in the form of a nuclear deal that has already expired.”
Bennett had previously said, referring to his trip to the United States and meeting with Biden, that there were many issues to discuss, but "the first and most important issue is Iran's regional activities and how to confront them."
This is Bennett's first trip to the United States as Israeli Prime Minister. He had previously said in a press conference about the goals of the trip: "We want to focus on a common policy; a policy aimed at Iran's destructive and destabilizing actions in the region, human rights violations, support for terrorism, and the Islamic Republic's approach to the nuclear tipping point."
According to the White House, the meeting will also provide an opportunity to discuss Middle East peace and the Palestinian issue. Other topics of discussion include Syria, Lebanon, and strengthening bilateral relations between the United States and Israel.
