Maryam Klaren, Nahid Taghavi's daughter, has expressed concern in a statement about her mother's health and the state of her care.
It is said that the reasons for Taqvi's re-transfer to the IRGC Intelligence Detention Center are unknown.
Nahid Taghavi, a 66-year-old Iranian-German citizen, has been imprisoned in Evin Detention Center since October 15, 2020. Amnesty International is concerned that she is at risk of torture and deprivation of medical care while in prison.
Nahid Taghavi immigrated to Germany with her family in 1982 and has traveled to Iran many times over the past 15 years.
On November 2, it was announced that Nahid Taghavi, a dual Iranian-German citizen, had been arrested in Tehran. The German International Human Rights Society in Frankfurt released the news, calling on the German government to work for her release.
