The continued detention and uncertainty of "Abolhassan Montazeri" in Ward 209 of Evin Prison

After 4 months of detention, "Abolhassan Montazeri" is still being held in Ward 209 of Evin Prison, in limbo.
Despite being arrested for 4 months and suffering from many illnesses, 65-year-old political suspect Abolhassan Montazeri is being held indefinitely in the Ministry of Intelligence's detention center, known as Ward 209 of Evin Prison. So far, not only has his interrogation session not been held, but he is also deprived of a lawyer of his choice.
Abolhassan Montazeri is a political prisoner from the 1960s who was arrested and sentenced to prison many times by the Islamic Republic government. He was arrested in June 2018 and sentenced to 5 years in prison by the Tehran Revolutionary Court in October 2019 on charges of “gathering and colluding against national security” and “propaganda against the regime through communication and membership in the Mojahedin Organization.”
After open-heart surgery in June 1401, he was transferred to Ward 4 of Evin Prison and then exiled to Gohardasht Prison in October 1401. Mr. Montazer was finally released in April 1402 and less than 2 years later was arrested again by security forces in Tehran in early January 1402. Before his arrest, he had been hospitalized for a while at Masih Daneshvari Hospital due to illness and lung problems, and the hospital's specialist doctors had ordered surgery for him.
It should be noted that he also suffers from heart, lung, kidney, urinary tract, and arthritis diseases, which require specialized medical attention, but this is not possible in the detention center.
Meanwhile, no information is available yet about the reasons for his arrest and the charges brought against him.
