"Teloshima", a threat to Israel

"Terror Alarm" considered a mural painted on the wall of a tower in Tehran, titled "Teloshima," a threat to Israel.

The website "Terror Alarm," Israel's unofficial state media outlet, published a mural in Iran and wrote: "The Islamic Republic threatens to kill millions of Israeli civilians with nuclear bombs (which they don't even possess)."

Tariq Rauf, the former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency's transparency department, had said in recent weeks that Iran might choose to acquire a bomb if Israel attacked its nuclear facilities. His comments came as Iran threatened Tel Aviv with a retaliatory attack in response to Israel's assassination of Ismail Haniyeh.

Israel also announced that it would not leave this threat and potential attack unanswered. The Zionist regime's goal in attacking Iran was economic, military and nuclear objectives, which US President Joe Biden announced in response to Israel's claim that while supporting an attack on Iran, it would not support an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities. Iran also announced in response to Israel's threat that any attack on Iranian infrastructure facilities would be met with a strong response from Tehran.

In the attack on October 26 of this year (November 26), Israel carried out three waves of airstrikes against Iran under the name "Operation Days of Response," which targeted military installations in the west and southwest of Tehran, as well as bases in the provinces of Ilam and Khuzestan, killing four Iranian army personnel and a guard.

Seyyed Hossein Mousaviyan, a diplomat, former Iranian nuclear negotiator, and founding member of the Moderate and Development Party, who spoke to the BBC two days after the attacks, said in response to the question of whether Iran would exercise restraint in the face of an Israeli attack: "I don't think so. But when Israel's action is important and fundamental, Iran will definitely respond at the same level, even a stronger and broader response than the previous one."

He also added, in response to what Iran would do if Israel attacked Iran's nuclear facilities: "I believe Israel will not attack Iran's nuclear facilities because Netanyahu knows that Iran will attack Israel's nuclear facilities, even the Dimona nuclear center, in response. But if Israel attacks Iran's nuclear facilities, they will cause Iran to move towards building an atomic bomb. Look at what happened during Trump's term? Iran was fully implementing the JCPOA, which was the most comprehensive nuclear agreement in the world's history. Trump withdrew from the JCPOA and imposed the most sanctions on Iran, while Iran was implementing the most nuclear commitments. This strategic mistake by Trump caused Iran to reduce its JCPOA commitments, increase its nuclear capacity, and become a country on the verge of a nuclear bomb. Now, if Israel attacks Iran, it will cause Iran to turn from a country on the verge of a nuclear bomb to a country with a nuclear bomb."

Ten days after Israel attacked Iranian military facilities and Iran issued warnings against Israel, the Israeli media outlet Terror Alarm published a photo of a mural painted on the wall of a tower in Tehran, writing: "Telugushima is a combination of Tel Aviv and Hiroshima. The Islamic Republic threatens to kill millions of Israeli civilians with a nuclear bomb they don't even have." The outlet considered the site of all the threatening propaganda a legitimate target and threatened to destroy it.
