800 child laborers on the streets of Kermanshah

HRANA News Agency – The Director General of Welfare of Kermanshah Province announced that there are 600 to 800 child laborers in Kermanshah Province who are working on the streets due to abuse, neglect, or economic problems.
According to the HRANA news agency, citing Mehr, the Director General of Welfare of Kermanshah Province announced the presence of 800 child laborers on the streets of Kermanshah Province.
Farahnaz Mohammadi said in this regard: "According to UNICEF's definition, people under the age of 18 are considered children, and the work of these children on the streets is a social harm. Children under the age of 18 should enjoy their natural daily needs, including education, health, and schooling, while children of a young age are working on the streets and are deprived of their daily needs."
The Director General of Welfare of Kermanshah Province stated: "Due to the prolonged time that child laborers spend on the streets, they are exposed to all kinds of social harm and abuse from various gangs, the most important of which is their presence on the streets of poverty."
The Director General of Welfare of Kermanshah Province noted: It is estimated that there are 600 to 800 child laborers in Kermanshah Province who are working on the streets due to abuse, neglect, or economic problems.
He noted: If you see these children, treat them kindly and if a problem arises, call the social emergency number 123 and cooperate in solving the problem.
