Jewish and Iranian organizations in Australia demand the expulsion of the Iranian ambassador

Jewish and Iranian organizations called for the expulsion of the Islamic Republic of Iran's ambassador from Australia.
On Saturday, August 3, Ahmad Sadeghi, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Australia, published a text on his X account in which he called Israelis a "Zionist plague" and called for the destruction of Israel by 2027.
In response to Ahmad Sadeghi's statements, the Australian Jewish Association, along with four other organizations, wrote a letter to Australian Foreign Minister Anthony Albanese on Wednesday, August 7, calling for his deportation from Australia.
The association, while pointing out that Ahmad Sadeghi's words are spreading hatred against the state of Israel and the immediate destruction of the only Jewish state in the world, called on the Australian government to strongly condemn the promotion of hatred and violence, which is completely unacceptable.
The authors and signatories of the aforementioned letter have repeatedly warned the Albanian government since 2022 and called on it to take action against officials of the Islamic Republic, and in the new letter they emphasized this issue, writing: "Unfortunately, it seems that the Australian government prefers to tolerate the spread of hatred, violence, and racism by the political representative of the Islamic Republic. The hateful and violent rhetoric of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic should have no place in Australia."
