Prince Reza Pahlavi: On this Passover, I send my best wishes to the people

Prince Reza Pahlavi said on the occasion of Easter: "On this Passover, I send my best wishes to those who celebrate it."
Yesterday, Sunday, April 13, the beginning of Holy Week, Prince Reza Pahlavi congratulated the Christian and Jewish communities on Palm Sunday, referred to their situation in Iran, and called for freedom of religion in Iran.
Palm Sunday is one of the holy days of Easter, the beginning of Holy Week and before Easter. This holiday symbolizes the entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, which is mentioned in all the Gospels, and the reason for the name Palm is that when Jesus Christ entered Jerusalem, people greeted him with palm branches, and Jesus, on his triumphal return to Jerusalem on this day, entered the city on a donkey, a symbol of peace, instead of a horse, which was a symbol of kings. In many churches, this celebration is celebrated by filling the path with palm leaves as a symbol of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem.
Prince Pahlavi also posted a congratulatory message on the occasion of this holy day on the X social network, saying: "On this Passover and Palm Sunday, I send my best wishes to all those who celebrate these holy days. I am especially mindful of the Christian and Jewish communities of Iran, who have long faced oppression. When this regime is removed, religious freedom will finally return to our country."
The prince had repeatedly referred to the situation of minorities in Iran in various messages, emphasizing that religion should be separate from the state and that all citizens, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or gender, should have equal rights.
