Prince Reza Pahlavi: The "Convergence of Pro-Iranian and Pro-Liberal Organizations" meeting was successful

Prince Reza Pahlavi issued a statement calling the "Convergence of Pro-Iranian and Pro-Liberal Organizations" meeting a success.

Yesterday, Sunday, February 16, corresponding to 28 Bahman, a meeting of the "Convergence of Pro-Iran and Pro-Liberty Organizations" was held in Munich. The meeting was attended by Prince Reza Pahlavi and a number of activists and representatives of pro-Iran parties, including the Iran Monarchy, the Pro-Iranian Resurrection, Patriotic Kurdish Iranians, the Republican Society Supporting Reza Pahlavi, the New Iran Party, the Iranian New Order Organization, the British Apadana Association, the Red Lion and Sun Society, the Iranian Pro-Liberty Athletes Association, the Hamburg Hope Association, the Nik-Asa Association, the Secular Democratic Party, and the 7th of Aban Front.

The meeting was held at the same time as the Munich Security Conference, to which Prince Pahlavi had been denied an invitation. The aim of the meeting was to create a mechanism for cooperation between different groups without forming new organizations. Prince Pahlavi criticized his non-invitation to the conference, describing it as a betrayal of the Iranian people and Germany's democratic values.

Prince Reza Pahlavi issued a statement regarding the meeting, appreciating the participation of the supporters and organizations that attended the meeting and calling for unity and support, rather than division. He also described the meeting as successful.

He published a statement regarding the Munich Convergence Summit on his X account and wrote: “At the Munich Convergence Summit, representatives of participating organizations were able to reach an agreement and consensus on the principles and framework of cooperation in a transparent process and in front of millions of Iranians, and publicly announce the start of their cooperation. These organizations have now committed to working together on specific plans and practical projects and reporting back to the public. This is the beginning of the road, and the door will be open to other organizations that were not present at the summit but want to be part of the solution.”

He also emphasized the three principles of "good speech, good thought, good action" and drawing boundaries regarding obscenity, threats, and undemocratic behavior, adding: "We are not here to determine the fate of the future government of Iran, whether it will be a republic or a monarchy. Our goal today is only to save Iran, and in the future, our mission is to enable free elections in Iran."

Prince Pahlavi, while calling the pre-revolutionary single-party system a mistake, stressed the importance of strengthening and multiplying political parties to achieve democracy in Iran. He also urged his supporters not to reduce his national role to that of a representative of a particular trend and to avoid premature marginalization and leader-building, as this could lead to discord.

He also criticized the titles attributed to him by the people, such as "Shah Reza Pahlavi", and said: "The position I hold for myself is from today until the referendum, and we have no right to say from today what the next government will be like."

At the end of the meeting, the groups and parties present considered the role of Prince Pahlavi as the leader of the national revolution and the transitional period until the election of the first democratic parliament and government through free elections to be very important and emphasized it.

Prince Pahlavi also referred to his trip to Geneva to attend the Human Rights Summit on February 18 and added about the Munich convergence summit: "In this regard, I call on all compatriots and independent and influential figures on social media to support this initiative and not allow those who do not want this unity and convergence to succeed to cause division."

"In addition, after the Munich Security Conference, I had the opportunity to meet and talk with a group of victims of the Mahsa uprising. Young people who sacrificed their lives and bodies for the freedom of Iran and even lost a limb in the process, but their love for Iran still ripples through their words and actions. They and other victims whose place was not available at this meeting are like my children, and I believe that they will have a bright future in a free Iran tomorrow."

At the end of his speech, he said: "At the end of this part of the trip, I would like to thank and appreciate all my compatriots who came to the streets of Munich from different parts of Europe and America, despite the snow and winter cold, and demonstrated their unity, became the voice of the Iranian nation, and showed their support for my efforts."

"As I have said before, my strength comes from your strength, and your trust and support are my greatest assets. I would also like to thank the non-profit association The Munich Circle for their support for those affected by the protests and for their executive hosting of the Munich Convergence Summit."
