Queen Farah Pahlavi called the 1979 revolution the "Bahman 22 sedition" in a message

Queen Farah Pahlavi, wife of the former Shah of Iran, issued a message on the eve of the 43rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, in which she called the 1979 revolution the "sedition of 22 Bahman."
According to a version of the message provided to Voice of America, Queen Farah Pahlavi, noting that Iran was “going through dark and unfortunate days,” said: “All Iranians who cherish this ancient land in their hearts, all those who are familiar with the secret of Iran’s stability and pride throughout the centuries, and who wish to achieve pride, happiness, and security, are walking hand in hand with steadfastness and solidarity on the path to victory over darkness and difficulties.”
At the end of the statement, he also expressed hope that "Iran will once again rise from its ashes like a phoenix. I know that the cold and dark days of winter are coming to an end and a delightful spring is on the way, and I believe that light will triumph over darkness."
The message from Queen Farah Pahlavi is titled "On the Occasion of the Sedition of Bahman 22, 2537."
In previous statements, Queen Farah Pahlavi used the solar Hijri date in her messages, but in this message she used the imperial calendar. The imperial calendar was adopted in Iran in 1354 and implemented shortly after. This calendar placed the coronation date of Cyrus the Great, the Achaemenid king, as year 1 and the coronation of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi in 1320 solar year as year 2500 of the empire. This calendar was replaced by the solar Hijri calendar after the Islamic Revolution of 1957.
