Borazjan Mayor Apologizes for Treatment of Municipal Workers

In response to protests over the way his administration dealt with the cleaners during the Mayor's Day ceremony, Borazjan Mayor Mohammad Hassan Mohammadi said that he was not responsible for organizing the meeting.

The publication of a photo in which municipal workers were sitting on the floor and Mukalla and Moammar were sitting on chairs had a wide impact on social media.

Mohammad Hassan Mohammadi, the mayor of Borazjan, wrote in response to these protests: "Given that I was a guest at today's surprise ceremony, I apologize to all my loved ones for the unwanted incident... I kiss the hands of these loved ones and have never, ever imagined a higher position for myself than these hardworking people."
