Rev. Vervier Avansian, a zealous minister of the Congregational Church of the Lord, rested today in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father after a long battle with illness.
He has left behind numerous services to the Persian-speaking and Armenian-speaking Christian communities. He was known to his friends and colleagues as the Sweet Singer of God.
Persian-speaking Christian news outlets offer their condolences to Brother Verveer's family and his colleagues, and pray for divine comfort and peace.
